  • a sore throat or tonsillitis at least 5 to 7 times in 1 year
  • occurrences at least 5 times in each of the previous 2 years
  • occurrences a least 3 times in each of the previous 3 years

Phytolacca: The phalanx is dark red esp on the pillars of the soft palate. The tonsils are swollen and the uvula can be filled with fluid (not as much as Apis). Mercurius: More of a slow process with red pharynx with difficulty swallowing with pain spreading to the ears. The tongue will be covered with a thick yellowish coating and have an imprint of teeth along the sides. The breath is foul and saliva is excessive. Will be very sweaty and affected by the slightest temperature change
